These marketing buzzwords are designed to sound good—but tell you nothing real:
“Plant-Based” – Usually means 1 or 2 natural ingredients surrounded by lab-made synthetics.
“Fragrance” or “Perfume” – Up to 3,000 undisclosed chemicals can hide in this one word.
“Sustainable Packaging” – Often still uses single-use plastic cases or caps.
“Clean” or “Inspired by Nature” – Not regulated, not meaningful, not proof.
“Refillable” – If the case is refillable but the formula is synthetic and toxic, what's the point?
✅ Real clean products use organic, food-grade ingredients and tell you exactly what's in them.
✅ Real sustainability includes what's inside the container—not just the container itself.
